Before It All Began…
Whenever I hear of new organizations or new movements (or even established ones but new to me) I always find myself curious about the back story. Where did the idea, or the experience get birthed from? Who went through what to inspire them to start such organization??
Which is why I thought it was important to share this video .
A Spiritual Hand Ayahuasca Center was not planted in the middle of the Amazon forest by some large hippy-dippy corporation looking to make a buck off of people’s spiritual curiosity. It all started from Ryan’s own personal journey. A journey that led him to his own experience in Peru and his own experience with the medicine and with the indigenous people there. Leading him to his bold leap of leaving all that he knew in order to form what began as a Facebook page to uplift consciousness, into creating a full blown personal experience and spiritual oasis that anyone could travel to and experience for themselves.
The fact is; we are not alone in human suffering of any degree, nor are we alone in our desire to rise above it in the most pure and spiritual enlightening process that we are able. This is why ASHA was created, and I believe it is why ASHA along with all the people involved will thrive.
A lot of the details that Ryan speaks of in the above video will be similar to the experience one can expect when planning your trip to our ASHA Center. But what I would like to note is Ryan’s sheer and obvious excitement displayed in the video – without really having any idea of what he was embarking on. He had done a lot of research prior to his first trip to Peru, in which I’m sure ideas began forming of something like the ASHA Center concept. Though I’m willing to bet money that he had no idea that afterward he would be coming home with vengeance to build his own center, that would bring blessings not only to the participants, but the neighboring village – in just a matter of months. Leaving his well paying job opportunity, family and friends to build this oasis in the middle of the jungle… from the ground up.
That’s what I would call following the inner guidance system, and saying YES to life!
